Technical questions
Can I take the G10 on a plane?
The G10 uses a 12Ah 24V lead-acid battery. Airline rules differ, so contact your airline before flying and tell them the battery type. Most airlines ask that the battery is disconnected before the chair is checked in.
Can it be pushed by hand if the battery runs out?
Yes. Release the clutch levers at the rear wheels and the chair switches to manual mode, so it can be pushed freely by a caregiver.
Can the joystick be mounted on the left or right side?
Yes. The joystick can be moved to either armrest to suit left- or right-handed users.
Can it handle ramps, grass and uneven ground?
The G10 climbs slopes up to 12° and handles pavement, packed gravel and grass. The brakes engage automatically when you release the joystick.
How do I charge it and how long does it last?
Plug the charger into a standard wall outlet. A full charge takes 6–8 hours and gives 6–10 miles of continuous driving, depending on rider weight and terrain.
Will it fit me?
The seat is 18 in wide and the chair supports riders up to 300 lbs (136 kg). Folded, it measures 13 × 28 in.
How heavy is it and does it fit in a car?
The chair weighs 80 kg (176 lbs). It folds compactly to fit most car trunks, but lifting it usually takes two people or a vehicle lift.
Does it need assembly?
No. It arrives fully assembled. Unfold it, connect the battery and joystick, charge it, and it is ready to use.
